Baby and toddler portrait photography requires lots of time and patience, so there’s generally no time limit for these shoots. Waiting until the little ones are happy and in a playful mood is key to creating images that you would happily hang on your wall.
Below are a selection of images from toddler portrait photography shoots.
The general rule with newborn and young baby portrait photography is to photograph them while they are sleeping. I’ll work around your baby’s schedule, even to the point where you can call me on the planned day of the shoot when you are feeding the little one, as after a change and feed often proves a good time to shoot. For older babies, a good time is after they wake from a sleep – you know your baby best, and I’m sure you know when would be best for your little one. When a baby or toddler portrait shoot is booked, that’s the only shoot I’ll be doing that day so the times can be really flexible.
A small selection of baby portraits are shown below.
